Sports kits distributed among players in Bandipora | KNO

With an aim to reach out to the sports aspirants, On directions of MLA Bandipora Usman Majid, a youth wing of District youth congress Bandipora distributed Cricket kits to young teams with an aim to promote the spirit of sports among them.

The kits were handed over to the teams from villages of Bankoot, Brar, Chakrishipora & Konan of Bandipora constituency.

While talking with this Correspondent the General Secretary youth wing Wasif Mir said, that cricket kits has been provided to these youths in order to involve them in sports activities & to keep them away from social evils especially drug abuses and keep them mentally and physically fit. 

Wasif also said, that Mla Bandipora Usman Majid  has focused sports development as a priority area and efforts are being made to upgrade infrastructure and develop other amenities to provide better sports facilities to youths of Bandipora and assured the local youth about the continous & Sustainable efforts of Mla Bandipora Usman Majid towards the  Empowerment of  the local youth.
